This Utility runs under the .Net Framework 1.1 which is available as part of the Microsoft Windows Update. As a consequence it requires Windows '98 SE, Win NT SP4 or higher. It was designed and tested on Windows XP.

Similar to the Windows Power toy 'SendToX', this utility adds functionality to Windows Explorer.

For files an option is added to copy the file name to the clipboard, and for folders there are the three options shown below.



Copy folder name or file list to clipboard, and print the file list. These last two produce lists similar to that shown below, however with the file extensions included.

The image below shows the GUI for the utility which allows more flexibility. Having selected a folder you can set to include sub-folders in the list and to show file extensions, or not as you please. The GUI can print or save the list to the clipboard, or save the list to a file 'index.txt' in the selected folder.

To install, extract the windows installer package from the downloaded zip file and run it.
